Dimensions: 8 inches tall, 3 ¾ inches wide, weighs 229 grams. History: The deceased were lowered tied to boards through long shafts into tombs where workers arranged the bodies in their final resting places, often alongside previously interred family members. Tomb figures were placed with the fallen to provide companionship, guidance, and protection in the afterlife. Description: Very rare orange clay male Shaman figure with twenty shoulder nodes, wearing headgear and a necklace with four pendants. No repairs or restorations found. Extensive mineral deposits and plant root marks confirm approximately 2000 years of underground burial. Overall Outstanding condition. Provenance: Ex. Private Nevada collection. Ex.
