Dimensions: 11 inches tall, 10 ¾ inches wide, weighs 1584 grams. Description: Mottled brown-black rotund seated figure, having a bulbous body and short raised arms. Wearing ear spools and a tapered headdress. Overall light surface deposits. Head was originally reattached in antiquity as evidenced by the sets of native drill holes around the head and neck, then later given a modern reattachment and restoration over the break line, some scattered light surface wear, otherwise intact. Provenance: Ex. Jack Bregman collection, NYC. Acquired 1960’s while in the Peace Corps. By descent to current owner. Ex. Arte Primitivo Fine Art Gallery, Downtown Manhattan, New York City 2025. Acquired by The Artifact City Collection in 2025.
