Dimensions: 2 ¼ inches tall, 4 ½ inches wide, weighs 189 grams.Description: Beautiful small bowl with intricately painted geometric decorations in red and dark brown pigments. No repairs or restorations found. Substantial loss to the rim, minor abrasions, otherwise intact. Overall good condition.Manganese Dioxide Reactivity Test Results: A solution of laboratory grade 40% hydrogen peroxide was applied to multiple manganese blooms that resulted in a strong chemical reaction indicating approximately 2000 years of underground burial.Provenance: Ex. Private Longwood, Florida collection. Collected in the 1990’s. Acquired by John McIntosh, MSE, MBA of Ancient Artifacts & Treasures, Winter Park, Florida in 2023. Consigned to The PreColumbian Collection in 2025.
