Dimensions: 5 ½ inches tall, 3 ¼ inches wide, weighs 252 grams. Description: Seated figure with traces of red paint. Wearing headgear and ear ornaments. Oversized head and legs. Right hand chipped. No repairs or restorations found. Substantial paint loss, minor abrasions, otherwise intact. Overall good condition. Manganese Dioxide Reactivity Test Results: A solution of laboratory grade 40% hydrogen peroxide was applied to multiple manganese blooms that resulted in a strong chemical reaction indicating approximately 2000 years of underground burial. Provenance: Ex. Lynn Langdon Collection, acquired in the 1950’s. Ex. Artemis Gallery, 2014. Acquired by John McIntosh, MSE, MBA of Ancient Artifacts & Treasures, Winter Park, Florida in 2014.
