Dimensions: 6 ¼ inches tall, 4 ½ inches tall, weighs 362 grams.Description: Seated female solid pottery figure, red-orange over a cream slip, depicted with large breasts, holding her left hand to the back of her head, right hand held in a forward position, and wearing a knee length skirt. Wearing a crosshatched headband. Scattered mineral deposits and root marks indicative of several centuries of underground burial. A few spots of very minor paint wear, otherwise intact. Overall excellent condition.Provenance: Ex. Arte Primitivo Fine Art Gallery, Downtown Manhattan, New York City, Ex. Private California collection, Ex.
